Chico the Chimp

Two helpers are chosen from the audience and are positioned on opposite sides of the stage

A large heavy card (5 3/4" x 8 3/4") displaying a mischievous monkey is introduced and placed inside an empty envelope

This is given to one assistant to hold

An empty envelope is then given to the helper on the other side of the stage

Chico the Chimp is to perform a daring escape from one envelope to the other After some comical by-play it seems that Chico has failed because the card seems to still be in the original envelope

The card is removed from the original envelope only to find that Chico is

GONE

and an outline the shape of Chico, is left on the card

however, the other envelope is still empty?

More comedy follows using the helpers and finally Chico is found hanging on the second helper's back

This is a wonderful routine for getting children involved in your act

It is good clean fun

Also for use by magicians that specialize in performing for children
