Trust In The Lord

A lesson on the possible consequences of not trusting in the Lord.

This effect is a visual aid.

Performer comes out on stage with a coiled rope over his/her hand. A story is told about a mountain climber who refused to trust the Lord and suffered the consequences. As a visual aid the rope is shown hanging down and then by holding one end it is possible to bring the rope up to a horizontal position. When left in the protective plastic wrap it appears to be covered with ice. Frozen solid. As the story ends the audience is asked if when the Lord asks them, to cut the rope. Will they? Just then the solid rope collapses for a strong ending.
